Learn Engineering and Reward Yourself with Candy
Build and experiment with a vending machine of your own. Using mechanical engineering skills and physics principles, you’ll build your own vending machine filled with gummy soda-bottle candy. You’ll even be able to perform experiments that will teach you about collisions, simple machines, gears, gravity and more.
Follow the 16-page fully illustrated instruction manual or scan the included QR code to watch an assembly video. Included in the booklet is an additional 10 experiments that you can perform with your vending machine.
Insert coins (pennies, dimes, quarters or nickels) and turn a knob to see them fall. From there, the coins will roll down a fun track, making jumps and ringing bells, before reaching the point where you can make your “purchase”. With the push of a button, your prize will fall out of the machine your coins will be sorted in an attached bank.
A limited number of candy soda bottles are included just to start you off. You can easily use your own prizes such as other candy, stickers, gemstones and more! Refilling the machine is easy; just use a small key to access the vending machine compartments. And you can display the machine on a table or hang it on the wall until you have more loose change to deposit.
